About the Book


 

Sunil Sharma is a suburban Mumbai-based senior academic, critic, literary editor and author with 18 published books: Six collections of poetry; two of short fiction; one novel; a critical study of the novel, and, eight joint anthologies on prose, poetry and criticism. He is a recipient of the UK-based Destiny Poets’ inaugural Poet of the Year award, 2012. His poems were published in the prestigious UN project: Happiness: The Delight-Tree: An Anthology of Contemporary International Poetry, in the year 2015.

About the Author


 

Gopal Lahiri was born and grew up in Kolkata. An earth scientist by profession, he currently lives in Mumbai, India. He is a bilingual poet, writer, editor, critic and translator and widely published in Bengali and English language. He has published six poetry collections in English and six collections in Bengali. Anthology appearances (among others) includesNational Treasures, Indus Valley, The Silence Within, Indo-Australian Anthology, Homebound, The Dance of the Peacock, Illuminations. His works have featured in printed journals like Indian Literature, Taj Mahal Review, CLRI, and Haiku Journal and in electronic publications Arts and Letters, Underground Window, Muse India, Dead Snake, Setu, Tuck Magazine, Debug, Eastlit and Coldnoon Diaries. He has jointly edited the anthology of poems: Scaling Heights and is the recipient of the Poet of the year award in Destiny Poets, UK, 2016. He can be reached at glahiri@gmail.com
